We believe in simple, natural diets. We sure don't believe in adding poisons to our foods, no matter the supposed "benefits".
What's (not) In Our Tea
Here's our entire list of ingredients:
Blended Black Teas
Water
Sugar
Yep. That's it. Just great tea brewed in clean water and sugar to taste.
NO Preservatives
NO Chemical Balancers
NO Additives of Any Kind
NO High Fructose Corn Syrup
Since the FDA was established and the federal government became our "nanny", cancer has been on the rise. So have many other health issues. Even previously uncommon afflictions like Autism have become rampant in our society.
We firmly believe much of this is due to all the chemical additives in our so-called foods. You know, the ones that we scarf down like the rapture is tomorrow but roaches won't touch most of it? Yeah, that stuff...90% of our diets these days. Well, we believe it's killing us.
So, NONE of that stuff goes into making Antebellum Sweet Black Tea.
So, What's So Special?
With only three ingredients, what makes Antebellum Sweet Black Tea so special? Nothing much, really...just knowing:
- Which black teas to blend (and how)
- How much tea to use per volume of water
- How long to steep the tea and at what temperature, and
- When to add the sugar (and how much).
- Oh...and then there's that secret process thing we do.
Then there's the whole bottling technique to safely capture and store that rich flavor until it can be enjoyed by you Southern gentlemen and ladies.
The Downside Is The Upside
Obviously, the big guys don't add all those chemicals for fun (it actually does have a cost). They do it to prolong shelf life, among other reasons of scalability. Our choice to forgo the use of these chemicals means our tea will not sit on the shelf for 3 years before spoiling. We see that as a good thing.
The benefit is yours. Every bottle of Antebellum Sweet Black Tea is brewed within weeks of your purchase (days, if being shipped to your home). Sure, that inhibits mass production a bit, but it's worth it to know you are enjoying fresh, clean sweet tea.
“Carefully brewed and beautifully packaged, Antebellum Sweet Black Tea is more than just tea. It represents part of our Southern heritage.”
